Unnur Bra Konradsdottir – This MP from Iceland showed toughness of a mother’s responsibilities by breastfeeding her baby during the speech in the parliament


The news that a member of parliament from Iceland has breast fed her baby daughter in presence of many during parliamentary speech has been the talk of the town. This woman MP named Unnur Bra Konradsdottir has now breastfed her baby daughter before others during a speech in the parliament and she has become cynosure of many eyes. It is now said that this daring act has never happened before in the country of Iceland and is now regarded as very rare occurrence even in the world.

This MP Unnur Bra Konradsdottir shared her thoughts regarding this aspect and said she bought her baby daughter to the parliament speech because her daughter was very hungry. It is now said that at that time speech on immigration law was going on with many sharing their opinions.

She also spoke about how another MP was giving statements regarding bill that she had put forward before the committee. It must be noted that this Unnur at that time was expected to respond and so she thought it was tough leaving her baby crying as it would create disturbance there. Hence Unnur decided to take her baby along with her.

Unnur Bra Konradsdottir further spoke about how her baby daughter was taken to the parliament many times before and how other MP’s are close to her daughter. Finally she spoke about how her baby would remain calm most of the times in the parliament.
