Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was wife of assassinated American President John F. Kennedy. She met John F Kennedy in 1952 over a dinner party and later married him. Arts graduate Jacqueline Kennedy became mother of four kids out of which two died because of infancy.
After marriage she used to help her husband in his work and was frequently seen in social events. When her husband was assassinated, she was accompanying him she was riding with him in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas. They were on a political trip.
Initially, she could not figure out that it was a gun fire and she got to know about this only when she heard Governor Connally screaming.
When John F. Kennedy was taken into hospital, Jacqueline was allowed to be with him in operating room.
Post the funeral of John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline and her kids were restricted from public view. Later she married Aristotle Onassis in the year 1968.
